Front Bear Hug Escape and Follow-ups

Here is another installment in our follow up series. This time we will be looking at the front bear hug under the arms. I have to admit I'm not sure why anybody would ever do this. The attackers hands are ties up while the defender has full use of his hands. The most likely purpose is to pick you up to carry you away or to slam you to the ground. Either way work quick and hard to get free.

Here are a few options to make them let go and follow-up techniques if the first does not work.

That's all for today, short and simple.

Happy Canada Day (July 1st) and Happy 4th of July to all our friends in the USA! Have a great week all!
