When they give you a push...

Let’s get right into this week’s video.

Somebody aggressively pushes you with one hand in a push and punch type of attack.
You lock out their wrist, dislocating it then take them to the ground and finish them off…

…BUT what if they pull their hand free before you get the lock fully on?

Now there standing in front of you, even angrier than before, what do you do?

Here are a few options for follow up techniques that will keep your attacker on the ropes until you can finish him off.

Remember ALWAYS have a plan B!
When in doubt HIT THEM! If you stand there thinking “Why didn’t that work, it works in class?” then you’re done.

You NEED to practice this stuff in class if you don’t think about it and practice it, it will not be there when you need it.

Straight Arm Lock Follow-up Techniques!

Today lets look at some follow up options from the straight arm lock.

Your attacker punches you execute a double downward palm block with a back fist to the head. You then move into the straight arm lock but your attacker pulls his arm either up or out. Check out this video for a few possible options.

This is only a few techniques that you could go to. Remember if you don't practice it now don't expect to be able to do it later when you need it. The flow of techniques from one to another is a learned art so practice, practice, practice!
